Having worked at Microsoft and my wife works there you would be very lucky to get any feedback if you tried to get hired at one of these tech companies. You’d be very lucky to get an interview at all. You really won’t get hired at one of these companies unless you know someone or are some bright shining star in your field. There is two reasons to go to these companies. The pay is very good and if you have one on your resume it opens a lot of doors for 2nd tier companies that are easier to get into and less demanding. That’s why I left Microsoft after 6 years was the grueling pace. But I made a boatload of money. It’s all a trade off.
