Great writing. I’ve tried to put this in words on Medium but you’ve done a much better job. I do think there will be quite a bit of violence but not a full blown civil war as so many people predict because there are no clear borders like the civil war 160 years ago. It’s just a giant patchwork of regions. Urban vs rural. I agree that we will eventually just leave each other alone and further separate. At some point the rural areas will want the riches of the urban areas. But that’s way in the future
