Funny you mention this now. The only people in my life that haven't gotten covid are my 81 year old mother fully vaccinated and boosted and until last weekend my 19 year old son. My wife and I fully vaxxed and double boosted now and got a mild case of Covid last May. My son came home from college at Thanksgiving not feeling 100% and we let it go because he said it wasn't bad. With regular colds and RSV going around we didn't think it was covid. Then when I got him back to his dorm on Sunday I made him take a test and boom, it was positive. My wife and I feel kind of crappy the past couple of days but nothing bad, not like covid so I am sure we deflected another case of it. Thank god for vaccines. BTW, my older son only had two shots and his covid was super mild. I have a feeling this is the way it's going to go, just getting milder and milder as time goes on. Pfizer will eventually have mRNA vaccines for Covid, Flu, RSV and a whole host of other viruses and we will just live our lives without getting very sick.
