Don't mix up Nice with Kind. Women hate Nice Guys. Which is a completely different animal. Being kind to everyone should at the top of everyone's list. Unfortunately, due to genetics or learned traits from parents, not everyone knows how to deal with someone that is kind. Also, physical attractiveness is the first thing we all see in someone and it can't be avoided. That is never going to change. It's hardwired into our brains. I'm tall and I don't think it gave me any special advantage when I was dating. (I'm married now).
