It’s become painfully obvious to millions of poorly paid Americans that the oligarchs in the USA are actively trying to keep people poor and dumb so they have no choice but to work for minimum wage. It’s what’s driving a lot of the Great Resignation. The other thing is that the democrats are likely to lose The House and Manchin instantly loses his power. We won’t be hearing much about him in a year. So he’s using up this time to grab all he can.
