Cheney gearing up for a run at the white house probably doesn't really care if she wins her seat back or not. She's young enough that if she plays spoiler to Trump or DeSantis in 2024 pulling even a small amount of votes away from them would doom them. She could run again in 2028 for President or even maybe for Senate who knows. I think she has a long career ahead of her and I think she knows that Trump is going down in flames.
