Big business has been playing with fire. Just like the lame republicans that thought they could control fascism, they too might fall in line. We shall see. My best hope is that they economy does a nose dive when trump takes over and big business finally wakes up after losing trillions of dollars. But then we have an an analog in Russia. The country functions. People go to work and raise their kids and do fairly normal things all under an autocratic leader. The key difference is that Putin is a genius and Trump is dumb as a stump.

In reality we don’t know what will happen. Likely some of everything you say will happen. You can’t just let the largest economy in the world fail without some pushback from the oligarchs in the USA.
