Abbott is in real danger of losing this November. I hope he does to stop this nonsense. Either way Texas ain’t going anywhere. If they really tried to leave they would probably lose half their population. Then they’d have to start paying for defense and all the other crap that the federal government pays for now. They’d immediately become a shithole country. The politicians know this. This talk appeals to the “base” but will never go anywhere.
