A couple stories. I’ve lived and worked in the Seattle area for thirty years. I even worked at microsoft for six years in the late 90s. But never had direct experience with Bill. Friends of mine worked a Microsoft in the 80s and 90s almost at the beginning (they are quite wealthy because of this) this friend worked frequently with Bill and Melinda and the stories she tells of his sleeping around are legendary. We all know he is quite a jerk. The problem with him and other billionaires is that there is nobody to tell you “no” this isn’t a good idea. Look at Trump and Musk. So he never got the message. I doubt he ever went to therapy or if he did never bought into it because of his ego.

I, on the other hand, had marital problems about 15 years ago. Same thing. Lack of interest. Anger issues. Couldn’t understand why my wife was mad at me constantly. She had a brief emotional affair and checked out of the marriage. But we are not rich so we went to therapy and I figured my shit out. We both had work but I had way more than she. Still married now. I do think too much money ruins most marriages
