A couple of thoughts....

1. It's only a matter of time before the stock market goes belly up and all those tech bros start complaining to him about stock prices being down.

2. Congress is usually the backstop to prevent this mess, but Republicans are just sitting on their hands. I've heard a few squawks about all the federal jobs being eliminated deep red areas like Alabama and Utah, but for the most part they have been quiet because Elon has threatened them with a $100 million primary against them in their next election. As some point, the wall will break because it won't make a difference because they will lose their jobs when 10,000 federal employees in their district don't have jobs anymore. They will take revenge on their local congress person.

3. The lawsuits are catching up but slowly, but this shock and awe can only be sustained for so long before there are massive riots in the streets. Is that part of the plan?

4. Until the majority of Americans start feeling pain, nothing is going to change. AFAIK, most Americans still have jobs and are still getting their social security check and Medicare benefits. We are at rock bottom yet.
